antaa cricket club [VCC] was established in early 90's by group of Srilankans. Which then later transformed into a multi-cultural pack representing countries from Asia, and with some additions now and then from other parts of the world. VCC was the first club to represent Vantaa metropolitan in the league and our home ground is located at Rajakylän kenttä.VCC were SM45 champions in the year 2002 and grabbed third position in the year 2006. VCC was also awarded ‘Spirit of the year’ based on a critical decision during the SM-45 2006 semi-finals. To add more, our players Shaikh Abid was awarded Bowler of the year and Milan Fernando as the Player of the tournament.

VCC has yet again grabbed 7 awards in the year 2008 in both formats. Milan Fernando, apart from his best performance with bat (avg and runs), was awarded Player of the tournament in both formats (OpenT20 and SM50). Jagath Prasanna was awarded Best bowler (OpenT20). Also VCC were runners-up in OpenT20.
