The new club palyed its inaugural match in 1995 against Helsinki Cricket Club (HCC) and then with the Stadin Kriketti Kerho (SKK) in the same year. Sevaral Cricket clubs were soon established in Lahti, Turku and Tampere. By no time, sveral other cricket clubs came into existance in the metropolitan area as well.
